castles-denmark.cc er en ikke-kommerciel informationsportal om Danmarks slotte og borge. Vi sælger ingen produkter, viser ingen reklamer, opretter ingen brugerkonti og indsamler ingen personoplysninger om dig som besøgende. Eneste undtagelse er, hvis du selv skriver til os via kontaktformularen — så modtager vi naturligvis indholdet i den besked, du sender.

3. Hvilke oplysninger behandles?
Vi behandler så få oplysninger som teknisk muligt. Konkret:
- Sprogvalg — om du har valgt at læse siden på dansk eller engelsk. Dette gemmes lokalt i din browser (localStorage) under nøglen
cd_lang. - Cookie-samtykke — at du har accepteret eller afvist vores cookiebanner. Også gemt lokalt i browseren under nøglen
cd_cookie_consent. - Indhold i kontaktformular — hvis du udfylder kontaktformularen, sendes navn, e-mail, emne og besked via din egen mailklient til redaktionens adresse. Vi opbevarer beskeder i op til 24 måneder for at kunne svare og spore tråden.
- Serverlogs — webserveren registrerer som standard IP-adresse, tidspunkt og forespurgt sti for hver forespørgsel. Disse logs anvendes alene til drift og sikkerhed og slettes senest efter 30 dage.
Vi anvender ingen analyseværktøjer, ingen tredjeparts-cookies, ingen sociale plugins, ingen reklamenetværk og ingen sporingspixels.

Siden indlæser to skrifttyper (Cinzel og Cormorant Garamond) direkte fra Google Fonts — fonts.googleapis.com og fonts.gstatic.com. Når din browser henter en font, sender den nødvendigvis sin IP-adresse til Google. Du kan blokere dette på browser- eller netværksniveau uden at miste indholdet på siden — fontene fungerer som dekoration, og en standard-serif vises som fallback.
Vi anvender ingen andre tredjepartstjenester — ingen analyseværktøjer, ingen videoindlejringer, ingen sociale knapper, ingen ekstern formhåndtering.
5. Retsgrundlag
Behandling af tekniske logs sker med hjemmel i vores legitime interesse i at drive et stabilt og sikkert website (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1, litra f). Lokal lagring af sprog og samtykke sker på grundlag af dit samtykke (artikel 6, stk. 1, litra a) og kan til enhver tid trækkes tilbage ved at rydde din browsers lager. Behandling af e-mails fra kontaktformularen sker på grundlag af dit samtykke til at sende beskeden.

1. In short
castles-denmark.cc is a non-commercial information portal about the castles and fortresses of Denmark. We sell no products, run no advertising, create no user accounts and collect no personal data about you as a visitor. The only exception is when you yourself write to us via the contact form — in which case we naturally receive the content of the message you send.
2. The controller
The controller of personal data for this website is the publisher of castles-denmark.cc. Enquiries concerning this policy may be sent to [email protected].
3. What data is processed?
We process as little data as is technically possible. Specifically:
- Language choice — whether you have chosen to read the site in Danish or English. Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) under the key
cd_lang. - Cookie consent — that you have accepted or declined our cookie banner. Also stored locally under the key
cd_cookie_consent. - Contact form content — if you fill in the contact form, your name, email, subject and message are sent via your own mail client to the editors' address. We keep messages for up to 24 months in order to be able to reply and follow a thread.
- Server logs — the web server records, by default, IP address, timestamp and requested path for every request. These logs are used solely for operation and security and are deleted no later than 30 days after collection.
We use no analytics, no third-party cookies, no social plugins, no advertising networks and no tracking pixels.
4. Third parties
The site loads two typefaces (Cinzel and Cormorant Garamond) directly from Google Fonts — fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When your browser fetches a font, it necessarily sends its IP address to Google. You may block this at the browser or network level without losing the site's content — the fonts function as decoration, and a standard serif is shown as fallback.
We use no other third-party services — no analytics, no embedded video, no social buttons, no external form handling.
5. Legal basis
Processing of technical logs takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a stable and secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Local storage of language and consent takes place on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and may be withdrawn at any time by clearing your browser storage. Processing of emails from the contact form takes place on the basis of your consent in sending the message.
6. Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection in relation to the processing of your personal data. If you have sent us an email, you may at any time write to [email protected] and ask us to delete it.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) if you believe our processing breaches applicable rules.
